6 Best Homemade Masks for Dry Skin

        There are indeed several commercial skin moisturizers in the market. Still, most of these products contain chemical products that affect and harm your skin negatively especially if you have sensitive, itchy, and dry skin.

What makes your skin dry?

  1. Not drinking enough water.
  2. Washing your skin with hot water.
  3. Using harsh soaps and detergents.
  4. Taking certain medications.
  5. Cold and humid climates.
  6. Exposing skin to heat such as stoves.
  7. Aging.

  Here are adaptable  homemade natural masks to treat dry skin

1. Glycerine

In a bowl mix 2 tablespoons of glycerin, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and  2 tablespoons of rose water. Mix well and apply the mask on your face or any other area for 20 minutes.

2. Honey

Mix 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Apply the mask with circular movements and let it for 15 minutes.

3. Rosewater

in an empty spray bottle put rose water few drops of rose oil, a few drops of chamomile oil,  and a few drops of musk oil. Mix well and spray it constantly two times per day.

4. Yogurt and banana

smash one banana and add one pot of yoghurt. Use a cosmetic brush and apply the mask to your face and neck for 20 minutes.

5. Coconut water

Mix coconut water with cucumber juice. Apply the mixture with a cotton pad and let it dry. You can use coconut oil instead of coconut water.

6. Oatmeal

In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of milk powder 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. ( You can replace coconut oil with any other oil)

Use a cosmetic brush and apply a thin layer to your skin. Leave it for 20 minutes.
